Updated Features

Google Maps API - Suburb Mapping

The suburb mapping functionality has been enhanced to fully leverage Google Maps APIs, enabling branches to accurately locate and manage addresses once assigned. All deprecated Google API commands have been updated to ensure compatibility and optimal performance.

Copy Quote Enhancement

The Copy Quote feature, available on quotes, job cards, and invoices, has been improved to include the transfer of Work Orders to the new quote. All associated costings will now automatically populate in the newly created quote, streamlining the process.

Multi-Job Card Invoice Payment Filter

Previously, checking the payment status of multi-job card invoices required opening each linked job card individually. This process has been optimized with the addition of a Paid/Unpaid filter on the multi-job card invoice list, enabling quick sorting and visibility of payment statuses. The payment status is now also prominently displayed on the invoice itself for greater convenience.

Invoice Date Editing for Multi-Job Card Invoices

The existing functionality allowing users to modify invoice dates during preview has been extended to multi-job card invoices. This enhancement provides greater flexibility and consistency in managing invoicing timelines across all invoice types.

Scheduler Month Totals - Role-Based Access

To align with management preferences, a permission-based control has been introduced for viewing monthly totals in the scheduler. Administrators can now restrict or grant access to these totals based on user roles, ensuring sensitive financial information is accessible only to authorized personnel.

Linking Existing GRV Items to Supplier Orders

When editing a Supplier Order, users can now select between creating a new Goods Received Voucher (GRV) or linking an existing GRV for further editing. This improvement simplifies the process and reduces reliance on backend support.

Item Image Gallery & Logo Support

A new image gallery feature allows multiple images to be associated with an item record. Access to this feature may be restricted based on user role permissions. Additionally, a dedicated logo image field has been added to enhance brand representation on documents and listings where applicable.

Unscanned Unit Enforcement for Job Card Completion

Previously, only technicians were restricted from completing job cards with unscanned units, while admin users could bypass this check, risking audit discrepancies. This validation has now been extended to admin users, ensuring that no job card—whether handled by technicians or admins—can be marked complete until all units are scanned, thereby enhancing compliance and audit accuracy.

Refined Item Access Permissions - Role-Based Access

Currently, users with the Item Manager permission can both view and add items. To enhance control, a new permission option has been introduced, allowing certain users to view the Items tab and branch items without the ability to create new items. This provides greater flexibility in managing role-based access, distinguishing between users who can review item details and those authorized to add new items.
