Confirm the reason for the credit note before submitting it.
Check that you have the required role permissions to use this function.

Procedure
Follow these steps carefully to create a partial credit note in BriskFlow and verify the result in your accounting system.
1. Open the specific Invoice that requires a partial credit note
.
2. Scroll down to the credit note section and select the option to create a credit note.
3. Add a clear description explaining why the credit note is being created.
4. Review the credit note once all invoice line items appear.
5. Manually remove any line items that should not be credited.
6. Confirm that only the required line items remain on the credit note.
7. Click Submit to your Accounting System.
8. Once submitted, open the credit note to confirm that it is available to view.
What to Check After Submission
After submission, review both the invoice and the credit note in your accounting system.
The invoice may show additional costing items.
Because of costing items, the invoice may display more line items than the credit note.
The credit note will only reflect the selected invoice line item(s) being credited.
The related costing line item will not be credited.
