How to link an asset to a lead

Linking an Asset to a Lead

  1. Accessing Leads Module:

    • Open the Leads Module from the explore bar on the left side of the page.

  2. Navigating to Lead Information:

    • Navigate to the MY LEADS tab or use the search bar and toggles to find the relevant lead.

    • Click on the lead name to open its information page.

  3. Adding an Asset:

    • Scroll down to the ASSET REGISTER section on the lead information page.

    • Click on the blue button labeled "Create Asset."

  4. Asset Editor:

    • The page will redirect to the ASSETS section with the CREATE ASSET tab open.

    • Fill out the details of the asset in the Asset Editor:

      • Name of the asset

      • Serial number

      • Internal asset number

      • Label number

      • Description

      • Select a category (if applicable)

      • Tracking device information

      • Maintenance date (if applicable)

      • Notes

      • Purchase date

      • Effective lifetime

      • Warranty start and expiration dates

      • Warranty notification status (YES/NO)

      • Purchase value

      • Depreciation type

      • Replacement cost

      • Any additional required information

      • Active status (YES/NO)

  5. Saving the Asset:

    • Click "Save" to save the asset details.

  6. Review and Return:

    • Review the captured information and use the blue buttons for any additional actions related to the asset.

    • To return to the lead page, click "Go to Current Placement." This action opens the lead information page again.

Note: Ensure all information is accurately entered to effectively manage assets linked to your leads.
