I can't find the item from the dropdown on the supplier order. How can I add it?

If you cannot find an item in the dropdown when creating a supplier order, you'll need to link the item to the supplier. Here’s how:

Option 1: Inside an already open supplier order:

  1. Click on the supplier name at the top of the screen within the supplier order.

  2. This will take you to the supplier details screen. Scroll down to the "Item view" section.

  3. Click on the blue "INSERT ITEMS" button. A popup will appear where you can select available items.

  4. Type a few characters of the item name to search and select the matching item.

  5. Enter the item cost and indicate whether it's a whole item or not.

  6. Click "ADD" to link the item to the supplier.

  7. Return to your open supplier order and search for the item in the search bar. It should now appear and can be added to the supplier order.

Option 2: Using the Items module:

  1. Navigate to the Items module.

  2. Search for the item you want to add to the supplier order.

  3. Open the item details and scroll to the bottom until you reach the "Supplier" section.

  4. Click on the blue "Add Supplier" button.

  5. A popup will appear where you can select the supplier, enter the item cost based on the latest supplier data, and specify if it's a whole item.

  6. Click "Submit" to save the changes.

  7. The item will now be available in the dropdown menu within your supplier order.
